How it’s worked out
We work out the take-home pay of each offer, add what goes into your pension (yours and your employer's), and take off travel costs. The bigger total is worth more to you each year.
Worked example

Questions people ask
Why count the pension?
Employer pension payments are part of your pay. A job paying 8% into your pension can be worth more than one with a slightly higher salary and 3%.
